A world without injury

OUR MISSION

The Gift of Safety

We believe in safety equality for all. We know that communities who are empowered through safety training have fewer injuries. This is why we exist. We believe that everyone should have access to culturally and contextually relevant safety support.

Not everyone can afford safety training, which is why we offer safety training, support and resources for free to communities and organisations who need this safety support but do not have budget to pay for it.

5 million people die from

injuries every year.

Injury can cause lifelong impact including disability, loss of earnings, trauma, and even cause children to drop out of school. Communities living in poverty are at most risk of injury and if an injury does happen they may not have access to adequate healthcare, which can make the impact of the injury much worse.

90% of deaths from injuries happen in a low and middle income country, which is why we work here.

The good news is that injuries are preventable.

We exist to provide tailored safety training and to  communities who are most at risk of injury. We believe that communities become empowered to promote safety and prevent injury when they can access culturally and contextually appropriate training. If you think your community, or the community you work with would benefit from this training, but do not have the budget to pay for it, register your interest in the Gift of Safety.
